Once they are trapped, the 5" x 7" gridded surface makes it easy to count just how many have landed and been captured on the trap. The sticky surface not only eliminates adult pests caught there, it prevents them from reproducing and creating more to deal with. There is a very low risk to beneficial organisms, but some may become caught by accident. Place these traps inside or out; you can even cut them to form a custom shape for a particular need. Results could vary due to trap placement, seasonal weather variations, size of pest populations present before installing traps, presence and numbers of natural pest predators, extreme weather, chemical spray contamination as well as disruption and/or damage due human or other interference.
The adhesive on these traps in non-toxic, but make every attempt to keep them away from children and pets as they will easily stick to hair and eyelashes. If this does happen, use soap and water to clean it up. Some people also use vegetable or baby oil to remove adhesive.
