Persimmon by Compound Genetics is the flavour-packed cross that perfectly blends new-school and old-school. The mother Rainbow Cheddar is a selection from Green Dot Labs selected to blend the champion Zkittlez terp profile with the legendary UK Cheese, then pollinated by Gastro Pop. The resulting progeny blends that delectable Zkittlez profile to create something new with a super sweet candy flavour and a loud, complex skunk and savoury backend. There are some light citrus notes to be found amongst the sweet and funky cheese notes and Persimmon typically has a medium stretch factor and an average plant structure.
Compound Genetics found intense candy terp profiles from this hybrid from initial testing; however, the underlying funk from the Skunk side of the Cheese lineage translates to the flavour experienced on your palate, which turns the overall flavour to level 11. Compound Genetics recommends that selections tend to focus on phenotypes with organised bud structures as the unique genetics in this cross mean she can be prone to a foxtail structure.
